We are conveniently located at 2801 West Delhi Rd. (Formerly Arbor Acres) just minutes from the expressway in Ann Arbor.
Full care includes morning hay before grain, daily turn out, stalls cleaned, hay and grain at dinner and hay again at night check. Hay also provided in the fields as needed.
Erica Ward grew up working at RedBob Farms in Oxford Michigan under the guidance of Helga Duffy, DVM and Major Robert Borg, Olympic coach and rider (in Dressage and Eventing). Erica has over 40 years of experience working with horses from broodmares and foals through two year olds in training and breeding stallions. While she is an avid rider constantly striving to improve her skills in dressage, jumping and overall horse partnership her passion is horse care.
After many years in the manufacturing and engineering field she is very excited to have this opportunity to follow her dream of making her passion her full time career. Erica's goal at WilloWard Equestrian is to offer a healthy and happy environment for horse and human. She's experienced both having her horses in her backyard and boarding and understands trusting your horses care to someone else can be bittersweet. Erica strives to offer high quality and customized horse care and values the importance of balanced nutrition, clean and safe facilities and maintained pastures to give your horses what they need to be healthy and happy.
She wants WilloWard Equestrian to be filled with people who share a love for horses and realize everyone has a valued opinion and experiences to offer. Whether you are a serious competitor, english or western or simply enjoy spending time with your horse, Erica welcomes you at her farm.
Erica Ward graduated from Michigan State University and lives in Ann Arbor near the farm with her husband Aaron and 4 children Victoria, Gabriel, Mitchell and Amelia. Outside of horses she enjoys spending time with them on the boat as well as visiting all the great Dexter shops, pubs / breweries and restaurants getting to know the community better.
